What is FFA? Who is it for?FFA is the premier youth organization preparing agricultural education students for leadership and careers in the science, business, and technology aspects of agriculture. The letters "FFA" stand for Future Farmers of America. These letters are a part of our history and our heritage, but FFA is not just for production farmers; FFA also welcomes members who aspire to careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners, and so much more. FFA is open to any student enrolled in an agricultural education course. We participate in leadership development events (LDEs), career development events (CDEs-contests), as well as opportunities for exhibiting livestock and plants, community service, and public speaking.
