Today's Choice for Tomorrow's Future

Astronomy Club

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year and another exciting year of space and science discoveries! The first meeting of the Tavares High Astronomy Club will take place on Monday, September 16, 2019. The meetings are during Learning Opportunities (9:01am - 9:31am) and the location is in Mr. Moore's room, which is Building 2, Room 201. The meetings will be on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month throughout the year. The meetings will last about 30 minutes depending on what we are covering. This club is student lead and promotes a safe environment for the exchange and discussion of scientific information and views. We will be taking a trip to Kennedy Space Center in the spring to learn about the past, present, and future of our space program as well as investigating STEM careers and opportunities. Everyone that has an interest in Astronomy/Science is welcome to attend!

See Mr. Moore for additional information.
