📣 Families of 7th Grade Students 📣
We are excited to share a RARE opportunity for your child to participate in what is traditionally an 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C. This is an enriching and unforgettable experience, but we must stress that it will fill up quickly, as there are only a few spots remaining.
Our trip is designed to provide students with an incredible opportunity to learn outside of the classroom. They will gain firsthand knowledge about our nation's history and government while experiencing a sense of independence in a safe and structured environment. Visiting a historic U.S. city like D.C. will not only enhance their understanding of key events but will also inspire them to engage more deeply with their studies.
Included in your student's trip are round-trip flights to and from D.C., comfortable hotel accommodations, tasty meals, knowledgeable tour guides, and visits to several important landmarks. Students will have the chance to pay their respects at Arlington National Cemetery, witness the solemnity of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, take memorable pictures in front of the iconic White House, marvel at the Washington Monument, and tour the Capitol Building. This trip is not just a field trip; it's an opportunity for personal growth and learning that your child will cherish for years to come.
Please remember, spots are LIMITED, and the deadline to sign up is rapidly approaching. This is a unique chance for your child to participate in a life-changing experience, so I encourage you to act promptly to secure their spot!
If you have any questions or need assistance with the registration process, please feel free to reach out Ms. Flora at florac@lake.k12.fl.us.
