The time has come to take the next big step—middle school is just around the corner! Tavares Middle School is excited to welcome our Bullpups as they become Future Patriots at their 6th Grade Orientation on Monday, March 3rd, from 5:30-7:00 PM!

Our Pre-K Trike-A-Thon was a huge success! 🚲🎉 Thank you to everyone who came out to support our little riders today! We had an amazing turnout and are so proud of our Pre-K students for their hard work and enthusiasm. Together, they raised $224.57 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! Every dollar makes a difference, and we are grateful for our generous school community. Great job, everyone! ❤️🏅🚲
Another successful Science Fair is in the books!
We are so proud of our students who represented Tavares Elementary at The Venetian Center today, competing against schools from across Lake County. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off!
Our students brought home two honorable mentions, a 3rd place, two 2nd places, and a 1st place trophy!

What a Fun Run! 🏃♂️🎉
Today, our students took on the Boosterthon Fun Run, racing around the playground in an exciting course designed by Coach Baker! They ran their hearts out to celebrate the success of our fundraiser, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Thanks to the incredible support from our students, families, and community, we surpassed our fundraising goal! Your generosity and enthusiasm make a huge difference for our school, and we are so grateful.

What an unforgettable night we had celebrating literacy with our amazing school community! Teachers created fun and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy, while families came together to share their love of reading.
A special thank you to our friends from PAWS Therapy Dogs for bringing their furry friends, the Tavares Public Library, and Imagination Library for adding to the fun! 🐶📖
From interactive activities to paws-itively adorable therapy dog visits, it was a night full of smiles, laughter, and, of course, books. We’re so grateful for everyone who joined us to make this event a success. Let’s keep the reading adventure going!

We had the perfect ending to our Wild About Reading Literacy Week with the incredible Katie Adams, a professional storyteller who brought stories to life in the most interactive and engaging way. 🦁🌍
Katie took our students on a journey through animal tales from different cultures, complete with audience participation, rhythm instruments, and sound effects. Our BULLPUPS truly enjoyed being part of the story!
